Porthleven's own town band came up trumps again. They processed around the harbour and arrived at the Lime Kiln stage to offer a warm welcome to their audience. They played many popular tunes that kicked started the Festival and never looked back!

Based in Helston, the must see dance group. Exciting, flambuoyant – these exhilarating dancers were very smooth operators! They made you want to get up and dance with them.

The rhythms of this versatile band known to West Cornwall were breathtaking. The band was followed around the harbour while they continued to play their exciting rhythms. They played on the Lime Kiln after they had led the Fancy Dress Parade.

These popular fishermen from Cadgwith, who sing for pleasure, kept all the people at the Skinners bar entertained with their special brand of singing the old favourite sea shanties. Great stuff! |
