6pm The Eden Project Lecture -
To open our Festival on Friday Evening , we're lucky enough to have two leading international experts from Cornwall's Eden Project to tell us their latest research and thinking on global food sustainability.

St. Bartholemew's Church, Church Row, Porthleven

Andrew Ormerod and Jim Dimmock will describe their work in an entertaining and informative lecture in St. Barts Church, at 6pm, to be followed by your questions.

Not to be missed. Just turn up!

To find St. Bartholemew's Park in the Car Park behind Costcutters supermarket. Walk up the steps into Church Row and it's at the end of this narrow lane.

Disabled drivers only can turn into Church Row (opposite The Corner Deli), and park in the Church grounds - only room for 4 cars!
8pm  Charity Shop Cabaret

Our first event in the Festival Marquee, Porthleven Harbour Head
is this gloriously funny, professional theatre show, receiving rave reviews wherever it goes. You can go straight from The Eden Project Lecture to Charity Shop Cabaret to the Skinners Bar which opens for your refreshment at 7.15 (ticket holders only).

Suitable for everyone from the age of 8 upwards.
